Talaria Training

I help people of all ages and abilities to reach their goals, through building confidence, feeling better in themselves, and breaking out of the training plateaus they find themselves in.

Whether you’re just starting out or feel stuck doing the same thing with little progress, I’ll help you move forward with confidence, and enjoy the process.

Who do I help?

In June 2024, I launched Talaria Training with a simple idea:

To help people of all ages and abilities reach their goals, even if they’re not sure where to start.

Helping them overcome their worries about exercise, building strength and endurance to reduce the risk of injury, and increase independence in later life.

If you’re new to training, lacking confidence, or feel like you’ve stalled, you’re in the right place.

What I believe in:

If these resonate with you, I think we’ll get along just fine:

1️⃣ Everyone starts somewhere and there’s no judgement on that here.

2️⃣ Having a goal gives you something to aim for and keeps you motivated.

3️⃣ Exercise should be enjoyable, and feeling comfortable with your coach really matters.

4️⃣ Big goals work best when broken down into smaller, achievable steps.

5️⃣ Having a laugh is just as important as the work itself.

If some of those made you nod along, amazing. I’ve got a lot to share with you.

A bit about me

I was born in Cambridge and grew up in North Essex, loving the outdoors, adventure books, and trying a bit of everything.

Before becoming a personal trainer, I worked as a teaching assistant and helped run breakfast and after-school clubs. While I enjoyed supporting people, I knew I needed a better work-life balance and a role where I could bring more energy and enthusiasm every day.

Through my own running and helping friends in the gym, I realised how much I enjoyed coaching, so I took the leap and trained as a PT. It was hard work, but completely worth it.

Now, I get to help people every day make real progress towards their health and fitness goals.

Just like my clients…

Philip and Suki, who improved their everyday movement to stay independent as they get older

Guillaume, Sam, and Christiane, who developed their running through a mix of run sessions and strength work, improving pace, confidence, and reducing injury risk

Richard, Simon, and Emma, who went from beginner level to feeling fitter, stronger, and better both physically and mentally

Well, now you’re all caught up and thanks for taking the time to read this. I promise to make it worth it.

P.S. Before you crack on with your day, tap the WhatsApp button below and tell me how your health and fitness journey is going right now.

It can be one sentence or the full story, I’ll read it either way, and it helps me know how to be most helpful to you.

Don’t Take My Word For It

Since working with Nathan, my running performance has completely changed. Adding structured strength and conditioning has really supported my running in ways I didn’t expect. I feel noticeably stronger during my sessions, more stable, and more powerful, especially on tougher efforts.

I also have a much better understanding of how important strength work is for performance, injury prevention, and long-term progress. It’s made my training feel much more rounded and purposeful, and I feel more confident in my running than ever before.

There's multiple things I like about working with Nathan. It's fun. We get along well. Nathan is really good at trying to get different exercises, and do different things, which ended up being really helpful.

I really enjoy it when I go, I always looking forward for my session and Lift Fitness is very nice very nice gym to be in.

I enjoy Nathan’s expertise. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to get me to where I want to be.
